Accessibility
Next Movement wants everyone to be able to get a quote, book and track a move, whatever tool they use to browse. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across this site and our apps.
Contrast and legibility
Text and controls target at least 4.5:1 contrast in both the light and dark themes, with a 12px minimum text size on phones.
Keyboard and screen readers
Every action is reachable by keyboard, icon-only buttons carry an accessible name, and focus stays visible inside dialogs.
Touch targets and motion
Controls target a 44px touch area and decorative animation respects the “reduce motion” preference.
How we check
Every release of the site runs an automated axe-core scan (WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules) in both themes, on desktop and phone viewports, before it ships. Public pages, the booking flow and the portals are covered, and a regression blocks the deploy.
Known limitations
- Interactive maps (Google Maps) and the payment form (Stripe) are third-party components; we relay reported issues to those providers.
- Some older blog articles contain images whose alternative text is still being reviewed.
- The driver, carrier and admin portals are audited incrementally, most-used screens first.
